Decorex Review 2013

Well now that we're back in the swing of things after a successful show, we're able to share some of our show highlights with you.

This year's event was fantastic, the new venue of Kensington Palace was an ideal setting and the increased number of exhibitors was clearly an added bonus, not to mention the beautiful weather which encouraged more visitors. Whilst we were very busy on our own stand, we did sneak an opportunity with the early birds to wander around the event for our own inspiration. Here are just a few things that caught our eye.

French Furniture
GEM – love this simple, yet effective use of colour and black and white.

Sun Mirror from Interio
Interio – double-take on this stunning mirror the intricacy of the surround only serves to draw more attention to the centre

The Little Greene Paint Company
The Little Green Paint Company – fabulous representation for their new collection

Myland Paint Swatch Table Mylands Innovative Bookshelf of swatches
Mylands of London – loved the way they portrayed colour swatches by creating a physical swatch library

Claire Coles
Claire Coles – her intracate attention detail, means I could stare at her walls for hours just admiring

Curiousa and Curiousa
Curiousa & Curiousa – a new twist on handmade glass, all the pendants on display here are ooze elegance

Jessica Zoob
Jessica Zoob – simply WOW. This is one of Jess's striking paintings, but her lifesize acrylics attracted constant attention throughout the show

Boatswain Lighting
Boatswain Lighting – a unique take on porcelain, maximising its translucent qualities with delicate yet bold designs

There were so many fantastic sights at the show, my blog would be an epic tome if I were to include them all, so these are just a few of our highlights, which  will form part of our own Inspiration gallery where many others have been added. Exhbiting at an event isn't just about our own business, its also a great place to network, identify trends and seek inspiration. Always make sure to take time out to explore if you're exhibitng next time – you never know what creative ideas may spring to mind!
