Take the SilkRoute with Floriture at Decorex 2013

Floriture will once again be exhibiting at the prestigious Decorex 2013 event. After a very successful launch at last year’s show with a feature stand, Floriture are excited about the fantastic new venue in Kensington Palace and the theme of the show’s social media campaign, the #SilkRoute, is a perfect fit to the company’s core proposition and the industry’s heritage.

Artificial or ‘faux’ flowers are nothing new, in fact there is evidence of their Chinese roots from over 1,500 years ago with the trend spreading across to Europe via Italy, France and finally Victorian England where the main application was by milliners as decorative accessories.

Floriture’s approach to silk flowers joins traditional English and modern Dutch floristry styles to create luxurious, indulgent displays that have the added value of longevity, impact and drama. Sourcing only the highest quality natural-looking blooms from across the world, Floriture displays continue to impress, frequently changing the old-fashioned perception.

Our 2.5m high wall installation created a great focal point last year, and has led to us working on projects that integrate our floral sculptures at early design stages within schemes, as well as offering a quick and easy finishing touch to transform a space once it has been completed. Our customers appreciate our ability to understand a brief, attention to detail and create real value to their business. Decorex enables us to showcase our fantastic products and meet more like-minded people with a view to developing successful business relationships and mutually profitable projects,” says Alex Whitfield, Managing Director of Floriture.

The Floriture stand will reflect the versatility of artificial blooms through designs with international flavours, including the huge orchid display installed recently at Blenheim Palace Champagne Bar, and enable visitors to get up close and personal with the products. The team will be also available to talk through their unique bespoke design service, which is becoming increasingly popular as desires for tailored pieces to reflect personality and individuality grow. Businesses who have already taken up Floriture’s services include boutique hotels, award-winning spa’s, hospitality groups, interior designers and architects as well as private clients throughout the UK.
